Komatke Emergency Medical Services Building

The design/build project was a renovation to 2,325 SF of clinical space and a 1,825 SF addition to the Komatke Emergency Medical Services building. This project also included a renovation of the surrounding parking lot. The intent of this project was to accommodate growth within the facility and improve efficiencies in providing care to its patients.

This renovation included demolition of interior walls and ceilings, construction of new interior and exterior walls, construction of new interior partitions, new doors and hardware, new casework and millwork, new ceilings, new interior finishes, lighting and electrical upgrades, plumbing upgrades, re-routing ductwork and mechanical upgrades, changes to the fire suppression system, new furniture and equipment and a covered parking structure. The overall design of this project is complimentary to the existing building and reflects sensitivity to the history and culture of the Gila River Indian Community.
